Your name and your husband’s name: Francisca Owusu and James Okyere
Where did you meet? We met at an artist from Ghana called Shatta Wale. We both sat on the same roll with our friends and we spoke, took my friend and I home and the rest was history
How did he propose? We did not go on the normal route where by a guy kneels down and asked. We just talked about getting married, he informed his family and they came to meet with my family (Knocking) and we took it from there.
What are your professions and how old are you (if you don’t mind sharing) I am 26 (Carer) and he’s 25 (Plastering)
What was your favourite moment of the day? My favourite part of the day was when he put the ring on my finger. I felt that then it was official. His favourite part he said was when he saw me walking in. He was speechless.
Where did you buy your wedding and bridesmaids dresses? Bridesmaids dresses was made by their own tailors as we did a Ghanaian traditional wedding and mine was made by @Toreladesignz on Instagram.
What would be your top tip for a bride on her wedding day? Top tip is to stay calm and enjoy your day! As you’ve stressed yourself for months planning for this big event, so when the day comes it's best you enjoy your hard work. If it goes as well as you planned it or not, just enjoy your day. It is very important.
